At IMS the BCS program is offering you to improve your foundations in Computer Science. The focus of the program is on giving students tools, principles and applications that are the key to moving ahead successfully in the corporate world. The program structure is designed to give a broader outlook to the student on the interlink of Computer Science to the various functions of a business, and includes exposure to economics, management, accounting and marketing in addition to other courses as well.

Program Prerequisite:
The admission requirement for BCS is FA / FSc from a recognized board of intermediate and secondary education or equivalent qualification. Selection is based on the aptitude test and interview conducted by the IMS.

Graduation Requirements:
To qualify for the degree, a student must attain a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00 on completion of the required course work.

Credit Hour Requirements:

Normal workload per semester is 4 courses. Students must register for a minimum of 2 courses per semester.

A student taking the normal load (4 courses per semester) can complete the program in 4 years.

The maximum time allowed for the BCS program is 6 academic years.
