The MS program of the Institute of Management
Sciences provides a broad exposure of advanced theoretical
concepts of computer science, which also include design and
programming of both large time-sharing systems and single user
microcomputers. It offers opportunities for specialization in
System Engineering, Computer Networks & Communication and
Artificial Intelligence. The program aims at developing in students
the ability to apply concepts to real world problems and undertake
research, and so prepare them for the organizations that plan,
develop, market, or utilize computing systems.

| Eligibility |
The admission requirement for MS is BCS /MCS from a recognized
university. However, a student may be required to take deficiency
in computer science if found necessary.

| Graduation Requirement
To qualify for the degree the student has a CGPA of 2.50 on
completion of the required course work.

| Course Load |

Normal workload per semester
is 4 courses. Students must register for a minimum of
2 courses per semester. |

A student taking the normal load (4 courses
per semester) can complete the program in 2 years. |
